This is one of the worst movies I have ever viewed.  After careful thought I still don’t see the meaning for this movie to ever have been made.  The acting was poor and the story line seemed to be non-existent.  It is obvious that this film was created on an extremely low budget.  The random settings with various situations made this movie very hard to follow and very unentertaining.  The scenes of drug abuse and selection of soundtrack added to the pain of enduring this film.  The director was obviously unexperienced or he was partaking in the drug usage along with the actors.  Blockbuster has a motto which is, “guaranteed to like it or it’s free.”  Looks like this movie is on the house.

I was unaware of the Production Code before this reading.  I wish that it was still in effect.  It would be nice to be able to view a movie without the unnecessary vulgarity and nudity that is in films of today.  It’s amazing how times have changed.

I agree with you about the movie being bad. I don’t care for movies that are based on drug use and have odd scenes like the “grave yard” one. I do think that the music did a good job fitting the movie.

Amen! I wish we could go back to the days without all the vulgarity and nudity and violence too. I think our world would be better for it.

    Heidi,

I am glad to see that I am not the only one that thought that this movie was bad. I think that the success of this movie had to do a lot with the fact that in the 60’s and 70’s most of the population was on some type of drug. :)

I have to agree, yet disagree. The movie while pointless, is a classic. When my dad and brother both heard what I was watching, the knew and already seen the film. They knew I wouldn’t like some parts and they slightly warned me.
I agree with not liking the drug abuse, but yet that’s most likely what really went on back then in those times. And then there were the violent parts that jumped unexpectedly, I sure as hell did not like them nor understand them. I did however like the music.
I was brought up with oldies so I kinda jammed out on them, I’m a nerd I know. Plus I liked the bikes. They were just a couple of boys, ridin the streets in search of something that unfortunatly I don’t think they found.

So all in all good yet bad movie…We’ll like the ones in the future of we’ll hate em…but it’s an experiance to watch new films that you wouldn’t normally watch on your own.
